SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — While we celebrate the ‘American worker’ on this Labor Day weekend, there is now an absence of laborers on this downtown street.
6th Street is now open to traffic between Phillips Avenue and Weber Avenue.
The long-awaited $21.8 million bridge and roadway project spans over the Big Sioux River. 6th Street is a main artery in downtown Sioux Falls and has been closed to traffic and pedestrians since construction began in 2023.
