SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A man has been arrested Friday in connection to the Dunham Park Homicide Investigation.

According to a press release, at approximately 1:30 pm Friday afternoon Walter Deshawn Stewart was taken into custody for charges related to the Dunham Park homicide investigation.

Parolee accused of shooting man in face

Walter Stewart has been charged with 1 count of Murder in the First Degree, 1 count of Attempted Murder of the First Degree and 2 counts of Aggravated Assault.

He is being held on $1,000,000 cash-only bond.

Stewart is a Sioux Falls resident. More information is expected to be released at Monday’s police briefing.
