WEST LAKE OKOBOJI, IOWA (KELO) — The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) and Arnolds Park/Okoboji Police are investigating a possible drowning.

Early Saturday morning, 27-year-old Gilman Cooper, of Omaha, was reported missing after getting separated from his group.

His body was discovered by fishermen in Smith’s Bay around 10:00 a.m.

Foul play is not suspected and the incident remains under investigation.

On the scene were Arnolds Park Dive Team/Underwater Rescue and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
