SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Why did the potbellied pig cross the road?

A Clay County deputy responded to an unusal report Saturday morning involving a potbellied pig loose on Highway 50 near Meckling.

The pig was caught and taken in by a rural resident to keep it safe and off the highway.

No officer or pig was injured in the rescue.
