SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – The Sioux Falls Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred at Dunham Park.

Officials say officers were called to Dunham Park located in the 1300 Block of South Marion Road at 4:21 p.m. for gunshots. When they arrived, one person was dead and others with injuries.

Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center confirmed they were on lockdown due to the incident at 5:10 p.m. More details about what happened are expected at the city’s police briefing tomorrow at 10:30 a.m., which will be livestreamed on KELOLAND.com.
