MADISON, S.D. (KELO) — The Historic Prairie Village west of Madison, SD is hosting a Steam Threshing Jamboree. Activities include steam & horse threshing, hundreds of tractors on display, sawmill & equipment demonstrations, tractor pulls and carousel rides. The hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $14, $4 for ages 6-12.
Archery Outfitters in Sioux Falls is hosting a 3D Fun Shoot involving 3D foam animal targets from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $10-$20. It’s free for children 9 and under who are accompanied by an adult. You need to bring your own bow and arrows.
Sioux Falls will be hosting a 1/2 marathon and 5K Sunday morning downtown and at the event center. The full-marathon was canceled due to high temperatures.

This is the final day of swimming for the summer at Drake Springs Family Aquatic Center. The city’s outdoor pools at Drake Springs, Kuehn, Laurel Oak, Hayward & Pioneer Parks are open from 1-8 p.m.
You can also beat the late-summer heat at Wild Water West water park west of Sioux Falls. Visitors can enjoy the water slides, lazy river, wave pool plus mini-golf from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The final day of Kool Deadwood Nites includes a parade of classic cars down Deadwood’s Main Street through Central City and Lead at 9 a.m. local time. A Main Street Show & Shine from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a concert by George Thorogood at the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center at 7 p.m.
Siouxland Heritage Museums is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a new exhibit called Courthouse Chronicles, to show visitors how the original Minnehaha County Courthouse has changed through the years. The exhibit is at the Old Courthouse Museum in downtown Sioux Falls. The hours are noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
Skateboarders are invited to take a spin at the new Barb Iverson Skate Plaza at Nelson Park in Sioux Falls. It’s open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
