SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The names of the two women who drowned on Lake Henry earlier this month have been released by authorities.
According to the Kingsbury County Sheriff’s Office, the autopsy results will not be shared with the public. The women who died were Kelly Harris, 65, of Buffalo, Wyoming, and Lee Davis, 66, of Scottsdale, Arizona.

On Aug. 1, officials were out storm-watching when one woman was found on the shore and an ambulance was called in. A second woman was also found on the shore and life-saving steps were taken.
Authorities believe the women were on personal flotation devices when the wind picked up and they were overcome by waves.
Kingsbury County was under a severe thunderstorm warning that night.
“The weather hit us really fast. It changed within a matter of a few minutes. Two foot whitecaps and a lot of lightning,” Lake Henry resident Michael Kack told KELOLAND News.
