SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Authorities are investigating a crash that left one person dead early Sunday morning just west of Tabor.

The Department of Public Safety says an SUV was traveling westbound on SD Highway 50 near mile marker 365 when for an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway and rolled. The driver was ejected from the SUV.

The driver was airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
