SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – An 18-year-old Lake Andes man has pleaded guilty to a deadly stabbing that happened in May 2024 in Lake Andes.

According to the South Dakota Attorney General’s office, Mackenzie Antelope pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree manslaughter on Monday in Charles Mix County. 

Antelope faces a maximum sentence of life in prison when sentencing happens, which is scheduled for Feb. 28, 2025.
