BRANDON, S.D. (KELO) — The second-ranked Washington girls basketball team heads to Brandon for the KELOLAND Sports Game of the week and a matchup with No. 3 Brandon Valley Tuesday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and you can watch the game on KELOXTRA (TV) and on KELOLAND.com.

It’s a showdown of the top two defenses in Class AA as the Lynx allow 37.3 points per game and the Warriors yield 39.1 a night.
The Warriors are 12-1 with the lone loss coming to No. 1 and unbeaten O’Gorman back on Jan. 14. They have won their last five contests. They have the third best offense in the class at 58.7 points a game.
Dana Harpe leads the team in scoring at 11.8 points per game. Grace Peterson follows at 11.6 a night. She is also pulling down six rebounds a game.
The Lynx boast a 13-2 record. They fell to O’Gorman in the season opener and at Marshall (Minn.). They have won 13 of their last 14 games. They are averaging 60.3 points per game, which is second best in the class.
Alyvia Padgett paces the team with 17.5 points and 3.3 assists per game. Gracie Salter is averaging a double-double with 11.9 points and 10.1 rebounds a game.
