SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A two-vehicle crash near Wagner left a man dead Monday.

The Department of Public Safety says a car and a semi-tractor trailer were both traveling westbound on SD Highway 46 just west of Wagner. The driver of the car pulled over and began a U-turn and collided with the semi.

The driver of the car was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the car, a 94-year-old man was taken to the hospital in Wagner where he died a short time later.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
