SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Pennington County Sheriff’s has a notable update about human remains discovered south of Hill City.

The sheriff’s office says in a post made this afternoon on their Facebook page that an investigation looking into Sahela Sangrait’s death has yielded a murder charge.

24-year-old Quinterius Chappelle was arrested on a second-degree murder charge.

The suspect is an active duty airman at Ellsworth Air Force Base, and, per the sheriff’s office, investigators believe Chappelle murdered Sangrait on the base.
