Special displays, a raffle, and a silent auction will also be featured at the event.“I think even people that don’t quilt would enjoy this show. There’s a lot of quilts that are very artsy, so you come to see the art, the color combinations, the pattern combinations. There’s so much variety in quilts and the subject matter of the quilts. I think there’s something here for everyone,” said Carol Davies, Quilt Show Chair, Black Hills Quilt Guild.
If you’re interested in quilting but haven’t explored the hobby, quilt ambassadors will be on hand to answer any questions. The last day of the show is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Rushmore Hall at the Monument. Admission is $8 per person.
