SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Two of the top defenses in class ‘AA’ boys basketball will go head-to-head in a ranked battle Thursday, as part of the KELOLAND Sports Game of the Week.

#5 Harrisburg is set to make the trip northeast to play at #3 Brandon Valley. Tip-off is set for Thursday, February 20 at 7 p.m.

The game will air on KELOXTRA (TV) and on KELOLAND.com. The video player at the top of the screen will air the game live.

KELOXTRA Information

Brandon Valley enters the game with a 15-2 record. They suffered their second setback of the season to Lincoln last Friday.

The Lynx have relied on their defense, allowing just 49.1 points per game. However, Harrisburg is almost identical.

The Tigers are allowing 48.9 points per game, just .2 less per contest.

Brandon Valley scores nearly three points more per game offensively, which means statistically, the two teams are quite even.

To add to the similarities, the two teams carry a very balanced scoring attack into the game, meaning several different players could hit shots Thursday.
