Bus rollover on Interstate 90

VIVIAN, SD (KELO) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol says several passengers were hurt Saturday when a bus rolled on Interstate 90 west of the Vivian, SD exit.

Saturation patrol leads to pursuit & arrest

First responders transported the injured for medical treatment.

That stretch of the interstate has reopened to traffic.

But the bus will be left in the south ditch along the interstate to be recovered at a later time.

According to officials the bus driver lost control and entered the ditch and rolled near Draper South Dakota.

The driver and two passengers had minor injuries, and seven passengers have serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
