VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO) — Vermillion hosted a Legion baseball triangular Saturday at Prentis Park.

Colton defeated Scotland-Menno/Freeman-Canistota 10-5. Post 206 scored eight runs over the first four innings of the game. The Yard Goats scored two in the first and third innings and then exploded for four runs in the fourth after trailing 5-4 at the end of three.

Post 152 secured a 9-1 victory over Vermillion in the final game of the day. The day’s action began with Post 1 picking up a 6-4 win over Colton.
