SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — SDSU head coach Eric Henderson is set to be named the new men’s basketball coach at Drake University.
The announcement was made Friday afternoon.
Henderson was promoted from associate head coach to head coach in March of 2019.

The 2024-25 season marked his sixth season as the leader of the Jackrabbits, going 20-12 and falling in the quarterfinals of the Summit League Tournament.
Henderson has accumulated an overall record of 129-60 in six years, while going 76-20 in the Summit League.
SDSU reached two NCAA Tournaments while Henderson was at the helm. That includes the 2021-22 season where the Jacks went 30-5, becoming the first team in program and Summit League history to win 30 games in a season.
The Jackrabbits also made the Tournament in 2023-24 when they won the Summit League Tournament and eventually fell to Iowa State in the first round in Omaha, Nebraska.
