SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — Another gunshot was reported in Sioux Falls Tuesday morning.

At Tuesday’s police briefing, police spokesman Sam Clemens said officers responded to the 8800 block of Yale Street. Upon further investigation, officers found shell casings and bullet holes on an apartment on Ellis Road.

There were people inside the apartment when it was shot at but no one was hurt, Clemens said.

Charges filed in prison meth overdose death, Jackley to speak at 11 a.m.

Police don’t know why the specific apartment was targeted and are asking the public for any information they might know.

Clemens said there are no updates on a series of shootings that happened over the weekend in different parts of the city.
