RAPID CITY, S.D.— Rapid City Parks officials are hitting the streets asking residents about the future of the greenways. Parks & Rec setup shop at Main Street Square to hear from the man and woman on the street. On display was information on the existing parks with officials on-hand to answer questions and take get feedback as they move toward developing a Parks & Rec Master Plan.With the city already seeing big growth Parks & Rec says it’s crucial to get input from the community. Rapid City Landscape Architect Melissa Petersen says, “The more feedback we can get, the better this plan is going to be. We really want it to serve the whole community. So please, please add your voice. However you can.”
