SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A male who was believed to have attempted to kick in a resident’s door was found several hours later Saturday morning in a ditch about four miles south of Sioux Center, Iowa, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
The male died at a hospital and no foul play is suspected, the Sheriff’s Office said.

He was found at about 9:47 a.m. in the east ditch of Harrison Avenue. He matched a description from a resident who reported at 2:45 a.m. that a male without pants and underwear was kicking at the door. Law enforcement searched the area, including using a drone but could not find the male.
The release of the male’s name is pending notification of relatives.
