SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A Minnesota man will spend decades behind bars after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.

Federal judge Charles Kornmann sentenced 46-year-old Jason Honestschlager to 30 years in prison last week in Aberdeen.

Throughout 2023, Honestschlager targeted teenagers in the Milbank area. He would buy the tobacco and marijuana in exchange for sexual acts and images.

The investigation found 8 victims.

“Honetschlager’s actions are almost unspeakable,” U.S. Attorney Alison J. Ramsdell said in a news release. “But unfortunately, this type of conduct is becoming more commonplace on social media platforms.”
