SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — A power outage has hit Flandreau Wednesday morning.

The Moody County Sheriff’s office is asking people to call their office for emergencies.

“With power failure like this, it can have serious health concerns for people depending on power to make life manageable and if we are fielding 50 calls about the power being out, we may not be able to get to that person who may need an ambulance to take them to a facility for medical purposes,” the office wrote on Facebook.

It’s unknown when the power will return.
