SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – South Dakota was the feature of a video posted by President Joe Biden’s POTUS social media account Monday morning.
On X, Biden shared a video of a Facetime call with Madison Mayor Roy Lindsay discussing the recently completed Lewis & Clark Regional Water System connection and 1 million gallon ground storage reservoir.

“Mr. Mayor, I’m so glad to hear my Investing in America agenda is hard at work for the people of Madison, South Dakota. Every community deserves the dignity that comes with access to fresh, clean water,” Biden’s post on X said.
In August, Madison celebrated the milestone of becoming the 19th connected member to Lewis & Clark and finally started receiving water from the Missouri River after nearly 35 years of planning and waiting for the project to finish.
The groundbreaking featured a sign saying “project funded by President Joe Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.”
Sibley, Iowa is celebrating being the final community to be connected to Lewis & Clark water in a news conference Monday.
