Rapid City burglary suspect arrested

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Authorities have arrested a burglary suspect in Rapid City who threatened a small child.

Several law enforcement agencies were involved in taking Joshua Peacock into custody Saturday night.

Clothes bound for Africa destroyed in fire

He’s charged with First-Degree Burglary and Aggravated Assault.

Police say Peacock entered a home on February 1 and threatened to harm a 3-year-old and her mother before leaving.

The child was not hurt.
