RAPID CITY, SD (KELO) — A jury in Rapid City has found a 34-year-old man guilty of raping a little girl.

Tell Cadotte could face up to life in prison when he’s sentenced in May.

Prosecutors say the abuse took place over a two-year period beginning in 2016 when the girl was six-years old.

Prosecutors say Cadotte took advantage of the girl while babysitting her and took photos of the abuse on his cell phone.

Friday’s verdict comes after a judge sentenced Cadotte to 20-years in prison last summer for receiving child pornography.
