“We’d love to introduce him at the rally,” Rounds told NewsCenter1. “We think he’d love it. There were Trump stores in Sturgis before there were such things as Trump stores. And we just think he would be very well received by these patriots that come in from all over the country and literally all over the world.”Rounds said the White House has confirmed it received the invitation. No word yet, though, whether they can fit it into the President’s schedule, or if they’ll be able to make security arrangements. If he comes, Mr. Trump would be the first president to visit the rally in its history.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of “staff.” Often, the “staff” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
