SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A 19-year-old Sioux Falls man admits to selling the pill that killed a Yankton teenager.
On Thursday, Udda Kobaba pleaded guilty to distributing the fentanyl that caused a death.

Federal court documents say he sold pills containing fentanyl to a Yankton man who then distributed some of the pills to 15-year-old Kelcy Orr. Her family told us she took one pill and died of fentanyl poisoning in December of 2023.
Kobaba is scheduled to be sentenced for his role in the crime in June. The other person charged in the case is 19-year old Evan Nelson. His case is still making its way through federal court.
