SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Minnesota Vikings and Head Coach Kevin O’Connell have agreed to a multi-year contract extension.

The terms of the agreement have not been announced by the team.

Kienholz joins elite group of SD national champions

The 39-year-old has a record of 34-17 with the Vikings with two playoff appearances.

The O’Connell led Vikings went 14-3 this season, earning the second-most wins in franchise history. The Vikings season was ended in the wild-card round of the playoffs against the Los Angeles Rams.
