SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — He took over the internet in 2018, as a video of him yodeling in a Walmart went viral. Now, that young boy has grown into a young adult, and is making his mark on the music industry.
While Mason Ramsey may look different than he did 6 years ago, his viral video is something many people remember.

“Oh, yeah, the yodeling kid I did. That was really good,” Tanner Oien said.
“I remember everyone sort of yodeling now. Yodeling became the thing,” Lexi Cote said.
But what people may not know, is that the internet sensation’s latest tour will take him to South Dakota.
Summer: Did you know that he’s actually going to be in Sioux Falls tomorrow night?
“Oh, I didn’t know that,” Charlotte Novak said.
“I just I love going to new cities and new places and, you know, meeting different people and just really just having fun up on stage,” Mason Ramsey said.
At Ramsey’s concert, you will hear many of the songs from his new album ‘I’ll See You in My Dreams’, which the singer says started a new direction for his music career.
“We wrote a couple songs and ended up writing a song about this girl that I had feelings for, but she didn’t feel the same about me, which is ‘Blue Over You’. And we released that and the people loved it. And so I just kind of stuck with that direction,” Ramsey said.
His new music style is something he sees pivotal, as he tries to make a name for himself apart from his viral Walmart video.
“In the steps forward, you know, I’ve I feel like I found my style and this is what I’m going to stick with. So, I mean, it just took some time to transition from, you know, being a meme to, you know, being, well, an adult now,” Ramsey said.
Mason Ramsey will be performing at Bigs Bar on Thursday night, and there will also be a meet and greet at the show.
