SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The leader of a local nonprofit is sharing a message with anyone who may have been impacted by a former Sioux Falls pastor and massage student.
52-year-old Patrick Anderson is accused of having unwanted sexual contact with four different people in 2024.

He also faces one count of rape.
The charges stem from his time as a massage student in 2024.
In 2016, KELOLAND News interviewed Anderson when he was a pastor at Restoration Baptist Church.
At the time he went by Patrick Boll.
He was involved in a ministry helping women impacted by traumas and hardship.
“I have a heart for women, for children, for people that have been pushed out of a bully position,” Anderson said in the 2016 story.
On Thursday, the head pastor or Restoration Baptist Church told KELOLAND News Anderson was fired by the church in 2023, months before his alleged crimes.
Becky Rasmussen is the president and CEO of Call to Freedom, a nonprofit supporting people impacted by human trafficking.
For Rasmussen, the news of Anderson’s alleged crimes is disappointing.
“If you are a person of authority, people trust you. Vulnerable people are coming to individuals who are not only pastors, but also medical professionals or service professionals,” Rasmussen said.
She’s sharing a message tonight for people who may have been impacted.
“We want people to know that if they have been affected by this situation just recently or in the past, that there are service providers that we see you, we hear you, we want to come alongside you and support you in your recovery process,” Rasmussen said.

In court Wednesday, Anderson’s attorney described him as a upstanding citizen who used to work for the Lennox Police Department and the state penitentiary.
Anderson pleaded not guilty and was released on bond.
