Suspect arrested for meth charges in Wagner

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A suspect has been apprehended following the discovery of methamphetamine near Wagner.

In a post on Facebook, the Santee Sioux Nation Police Department stated that at around 10:37 p.m. on October 11th, a small baggie containing a substance was located.

The substance was identified as 46.78 grams of meth, which was discovered through testing.

Due to “commendable teamwork and cooperation among staff”, law enforcement officials were able to take a suspect into custody.

The suspect has been booked into the Wagner BIA Correctional Facility for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent to Distribute.
